Our story
Pete Torrance has spent more than 25 years in construction, beginning his career as a laborer and carpenter working alongside his uncle, father, and cousins at Torrance Construction on some of the Adirondacks’ most well-known camps. Since founding PRT Construction in 2013, Pete and his team have built and renovated distinctive waterfront homes and camps throughout the region, including projects on Upper St. Regis Lake, Lake Placid, and in Keene and Wilmington. Pete lives in Lake Placid with his wife, Hannah, and their children, Meadow and Rollie. His work reflects a deep understanding of Adirondack building traditions and a commitment to craftsmanship that ensures each home is built to endure for generations.
